Hansel-Prestige Collision Center


     Recently, I had the opportunity to keep your collision repair shop busy for quite some time. My Jetta TDI was parked too close to a very tall tree and a large tree limb fell length-wise onto the rear window area and buried the vehicle.  There was a considerable amount of body damage to the roof, blown out rear window, cracked windshield and two pages of etc..


     The vehicle was chain-sawed out of the tree debris and actually driven to the finest body-shop in town, Hansel-Prestige.   The vehicle arrived in your service area, covered on the outside with saw-dust and an interior full of broken glass, rain-water damage, more saw-dust and some rather significant dents.   I simply dropped the vehicle off just like a basic "oil change" and went home to Ukiah.   Hansel-Prestige prepared an estimate and reviewed the process with my insurance, CSAA.  Mind you, I live 60 miles away and had no worry that it would be properly repaired.  Paul and Pam in the collision department kept in routine contact with me and I was well informed through the entire process.   The  Hansel-Prestige processing with CSAA was absolutely seamless.  It was several weeks of repair--after all, I did get a new roof!! 


     Finally, I  came down to Santa Rosa to pick-up the repaired vehicle.   I expected theJetta to look "pretty good", but it was magnificently unblemished, inside and outside.  Absolutely spotless!   Showroom perfect from EVERY view, both interior and exterior.   I climbed into the driver's seat and experienced the same pride of ownership sensation  that I felt  the original day of purchase.   I had nearly forgotten that this terrific vehicle, a 2010 Jetta TDI, was mine.


     Lastly, the ability of your collision center to repair my Jetta allowed CSAA to make the decision to "write the check".   A "total loss" would have destroyed a lot of equity in the vehicle AND left me without a vehicle.   So, I give a really big "Thank You" to  your collision crew.
